Default AUIIISR front end enhancement

Have just bought a great looking SR AUIII and am very impressed by how good it still looks from the side and rear but I think the front has aged a little. Its got a venetian blind style grill and I was wondering if the black mesh grills from the BA/BF's ala XR6 will fit my AU ??? Also are there any LED headlights preferably with black bordering that fit an AU ??? Am anything but an expert so any suggestions would be handy..... Cheers

You can buy similar mesh to that of the ba's and fit it to your AU. have a look on ebay for headlights, there's a few different ones, or better yet just paint the bezzels of you're existing headlights black.

That's not too bad. I has assumed you had an AU3 XR6, not an AU2SR. Even those ricey headlights look OK on yours - because of the dark colour, I reckon.

OT - how did you get the adaptive shift to work on a non-XR model? I assume you're running the XR ECU to go with the HP cam?

Thanks for advice all....... Brett, must admit your front end is a big improvement on mine though not sure how the lights would come up on my lighter deep blue version. Also a good link by ronwest, have got more ideas than i know what to do with. Think i'll have to post photos of my mods when they happen........

Head on over to http://www.aufalcon.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?act=cat&i=X
and browse through the fine examples on display.

You can also pm the owners for more info re sourcing and pricing of bits.
