yesterday i had to move my AU XR8 out the driveway so that i could take my dads AU falcon to work. when i moved my car and got out of it i locked my car with my dads key only to realise that my keys were sitting on my seat. : i tried opening the door with my dads keys and it doesnt work. is there any way to program AU key pads to work on other cars and does anyone have any suggestions to how i should go about gettin my keys?

there is no other way to program a key put to have your car turned onto accesories!
mate, just call the RAA or RAAV whoever you have over there! ... they will have a toll to get into it!! or you could trip your system, but that requires a long peice of copper wire!

Or smash one of your windows! A front door window is cheap from the wreckers, and easy as to replace. Only pain will be cleaning the glass. Plus you'll get to enjoy smashing something.

pretty easy to get into...youl need to gentley pry the top of the door back and slide a long bent peice of wire (around coat hanger thickness) and grab hold the door handle and open....I work for the RAC thats how we do it but i use a small inflatable airbag to pry the door back a bit and we have all sorts of wires etc made up...just about all cars are pretty easy to into falcon being one of the easiest......if ya not sure id just ring the RAC hey or you might damage something....

My son when he was about 10 years old locked my keys in the boot and I was about 2 hours from home (one way) to get the spare set, so I had to break in using the way that waggaclint uses, it is pretty easy to do.
Good luck with it. Whiskers |

RACV have a special shaped wire to open AUs. I have them use it beore when I've locked my keys in the boot (Armed alarm, open boot, drop keys, close boot, car re-arms...) Took the RACV 5 seconds to open the car with alarm wailing.
