Thats ok Ron give em another coat and they should be ok as it now has a base coat.....but as always the orange and red always seem to fade this is why l went to gold color for my rotors and calipers...
Cheers Chris

I had brake temperature indicators on my Honda around Winton. The front’s went up to near 560 (or was it 600?) degrees c and the backs never went over 200 degrees (2 drivers sharing a car and 1:43 lap times). Your Focus may be exceeding that depending on how hard you were pushing it (it is a heavier car).
I just painted my calipers and rotors with matt black oven paint. It has gone off slightly to grey but at least it’s an improvement over rusted metal. What paint do Brembo use for their fancy painted calipers?

i thinking of going for a colour change, not sure.
i'm looking into doing the winton sprint series next year, 5 rounds, so might just do them black so i don't have to keep painting them |

Pretty sure the Brembo's are powder coated...
I haven't heard of anyone getting the brakes done though, only engine componets like rocker covers! I had a few probs with VHT paint fading and cracking before :
