It's an explorer - everything is @rse about, but thought it may inspire you in some way!? The air filter is a 9" long, 3" neck K&N pod filter, and I made that custom cover for it - painted it with VHT wrinkle spray (available in black, blue or red) for that "factory" look - kind of.

I want to do a few more things to mine still. I'm waiting for Pole position to make the red silicone hoses for the au v8, and hopefully they will make the heater and water pump ones too, and im seriously thinking about taking the extractors off and getting them HPC coated.

Love my engine cover but I cant leave it on there all the time as it rubs. If I could get a standard one even in bad condition Id paint it up and put it on there.

MSD 8.5mm Super Conductors- I've tried 4 sets of leads now and these are BY FAR the best- oddly enough, not the most expensive ones either........

Edit: actually every part of my ignition system is MSD now except the plugs which are standard NGK's.....

MSD hey...Are they a made up set or an off the shelf boxed item? Mine are due for replacement soon and I have never been that happy with them.

Got mine made up from Dave at A1 High Performance over here (Bottledup on the forums)- he's done heaps of sets for forumers fopr a good price.

Honestly mate, I wouldn't use anything else. Have a post of mine wher i did resistence checks with Top Guns vs Eagles vs MSD- HUGE difference. I know resistance isn't everything, but the quality of the set is first class too....

I lived out of town in a fairly dusty area for most of this year, never cleaned the engine bay while I lived there, and still haven't, but my engine bay looks nothing like that.
