Hi, I was just wondering what's the age difference between you and your missus..
I'm 21 and my missus is 16, is this alright or what? She is completely fine with it, but I know people are thinking that I'm too old etc. She knows it makes me look bad too being 5 years apart. Would you let your 16 yr old daughter go out with a 21 year old? Open to much flaming etc. I need some more opinions.

Are her folks ok with it? It's all legal so there's no real issue. I think if parents were to forbid a 16 y/o going out with a 21 y/o it's likely she'll do it behind their backs anyway. All you can hope is they grew up with common sense and use it.
For your sake and hers, don't knock her up.

i don't think the age gap matters too much ( with in reason). i think its the maturity level of the couple.
i know some 16 yr olds that are very mature.

The bar seems to be sliding back to the nonsense threads it used to have.
lets keep this sort of banter for IRC. http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=55529 BTW, if you go to the trouble of starting a thread for many to read, at least have to the courtesy to type the heading, not SMS it. |

Further to quality of threads, it took me all of 15 seconds to remove the SMS from the first post in this thread and make it legible, would take all of 5 seconds max to do so while composing.
Please leave the SMS for your phones. |
