Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone has had problems with the hinges on their series 1 AU. My passenger front door makes a whoosh noise when i hit bumps, there is obvious evidence of paint being rubbed off on the the door where it sits up against the seal that runs along the roof, the paint rubbing is more obvious against the seal at the botton of the windscreen, when the door is closed i can physically move the door up and down u can actually hear the door rubbing against the seals. I am leaning towards the hinges being worn in some way,has anyone encountered simular and if so what did they do to rectify it. Thanks Cart |

The hinges can wear out, they do on my taxis but on a private car you wouldn't think so.
To fix hinges unbolt and replace Maybe they are just loose, you can readjust them so the door fits properly and then tighten up |
