What engine oil do you guys use in your XR4?

Castrol Edge 5W-30 Synthetic

Used to use the same stuff in the Zetec too.

I dont drive an XR4 but I use EDGE 5W-30.

Thanks guys, was looking at doing the engine change myself, but it's look slightly over my head - maybe I get my friend's dad to do it once for me so I can have a watch, and I think he has the right tools as well.

That's the way to go Nado, get someone to show you the first couple of times and take it from there, it really is very easy.

Just make sure you use the genuine oil filter from Ford which is a Motorcraft one so as to ensure your warranty stays intact, it isn't any more expensive than an aftermarket one.
