I was surfing the net today and came across this...
http://www.henryfordestate.org/ A website dedicated to the 1300 acre estate of Henry Ford and his wife, Clara. It gives a look into the private life of Henry and his personal pursuits. It also tells of the "camping" trips he took with Thomas Edison, Harvey Firestone and others, including U.S. Presidents. It also gives you a tour of Henry's on-site Lab and Powerhouse. This were Henry developed the Flathead V8 and the "X" engine. Also is this website is dedicated to Henry's son, Edsel's family home. http://www.fordhouse.org/ After Edsel passed away in 1943, his wife Eleanor lived there until she passed in 1976. She made sure that the house would be open for public display after her death. Both sites are a very interesting read and give a very facsinating look into the lives of the Ford family.
