Like the thread title says, does anybody know if it's coming to OZ - and if so, will it have a diesel option?

Another forum member said it's been on sale in NZ since last year. It seems disappointing that it's not here, seeing as there won't be an FG wagon. It would also be a nice alternative to a VE wagon, particularly with the TDI option.

someone at ford was recently qouted as saying their looking into bringing it here, as the falcon wagon is now aimed predominently at fleets, they acknowledge they need something more stylish to compete with the new commodore wagon.

I saw a black one on show inside a shopping centre with the full XR5T kit and Focus XR5 copies in 20". It looked so incredibly damn hot.
Now I'm going to be a right moron and say I didn't get pics.

Nah, I saw it at Bayfair at the Mount in early January. More than likely it was the same car though. I couldn't stop gawking at it.
I agree, the SportWagon's a boxy beast compared to this thing. You could fit more in the back too.

Yeah, the Tdiesel and 5T should net some more buyers, the initial engine line up was disappointing.
