Saw these in a shen. These have been in the same family since new and the current owner is pushing 100!! They are not in bad nick. The Model T still runs, the owner fired it up after sitting for 14 years and it still goes!!
1915 Model T Does anyone know what this is? |

I think that the second one is a Model A, however, I could be wrong.
Awesome find. Is he interested in selling any of them?

theres a farmer here in Warrnambool that bought a Model A brand new in the day, to this day it is the only car he has ever owned and he still drives it around on a regular basis - in ORIGINAL condition!
its still in GC too, not rusted out. |

What a fantastic find! It's hard to imagine that there are still prime examples of these cars getting around outside of museums.

They are too rear and valuable... You can buy replica kits if you want a hot rod... I cringed big time when Codington wrecked a good old Ford in good nick to build a hot rod...

Thats awsome! If we all kept our current cars for the next 80 years we'd be in the same situation.
(no thanks, I struggle to keep a car for 8 months) |

Theres an old guy in Oakdale that has a shed full of old cars like that.
He has an open day once a year for charity, and we take a coach group out to his property for a BBQ and rides around a track in some of the cars.

Agreed with no hot rods.
Keep them original, as originals are harder and harder to find, like GT replicas...many of them around, and only so many GTs...and even more so for HOs. Preserving history is important.

Only T models made in the main factory in Detroit were black only. This was because black dried faster and the production line could be sped up. Canadian cars were navy blue with black guards. I don't know what the oz built cars were . Just some useless info for you.
Yes the A is a 30/31 'improved' a model. the cowl is different to the earlier 28/9 models. well spotted. Great find I wish they were in my shed.
