Default RED silicone hoses!

That's right RED silicone radiator hoses to suit AU I6 & V8 will be ready soon, in about 2 weeks to be exact. These are made by Pole Position Auto (site sponsor) and are of the same quality as the B series ones that they seem to love. Prices are;
AU I6 - $220 inc GST + freight
AU V8 - $240 inc GST + freight

These are at this stage limited to a run of 25 of each so first in best dressed. There may be another run in the future if the demand is there but as Jeff told me it would take a fair while to get back around to them if at all, SO GET IN QUICK!!

I'm on the list and I thought I'd make a list here for all those who are interested, but remember he who comes up with $$$ first will get hoses first!

1. Russell.

Red has never been done on an AU before, the closest pic there is is either blue on an AU or red on a BA.

Please ignore how filthy everything is, it's in major need of some TLC. These are the blue Pole Position hoses.

I usually don't see too much of them as they're covered by the engine cover.

these kits are really good, had one on my old V8 and it all fitted perfectly, the kit has all the clamps needed. Except you need to buy 1 larger hose clamp for the biggest end of the bottom hose that goes on the water pump cant remember the measurement though. this is it all laid out.

edit; minus the plugs!

You dont need to buy 1 bigger clamp, we addressed that early on. All clamps are supplied including the 1 larger clamp for the one end of hose that requires it.

Cheers

Thumbs up Pole Position Auto Accessories is a credit to AFF

Got my hoses and a very nice nice bling bling oil filler cap tonight. Jeff is a fantastic guy to deal with and Pole Position is a credit to the forum. I can't wait until the weekend so I can get these hoses on the car. I'll post pics when I do.
Thanks again Jeff. :

There is only a few days left on this deal, finishes at the end of July, so if you are thinking about it, dont wait to long as they go back to normal price as of August 1.

Cheers

Jeff

Thanks Phoon and Te50, I liked the blue hoses, but love the red ones. They match the tappet cover bueatifully. Just got to do some more shiny shiny under the bonnet. Will see you at the gcafd for some tips.

Thumbs down

For those who are unsure about buying a set i thought that i might add that these hoses really sets off the engine bay well and makes the old hoses that i had look like dirt in comparison. I bought a blue set for my AU V8 and was very impressed by them and the comments i have received when my bonnet has been opened have been very good. Also, the service from Phoon and his company has been outstanding and i highly reccomend them.
