just lookin at gettin the old mans au falcon on the road asap. he gave me lift to pick my car up from the transmission joint yesterday n his tranny shat itself on the way home :ticking: so i got an old eb transmission sittin around n was wonderin if i could bolt the au bellhousing on to it n chuck it in the au? anyone got any idea?
just quickly also ive blown a few auto's but never seen one spit all its oil out n start slippin, other than that no problem? any ideas? |

yes you can, but you'll have to swap over au inhibitor switch and gear position sensor, which is easy 2 bolts from memory.

oh and its blown up cause its over heated and cavitated the oil/boiled. you may fined filling it with oil again, it might be ok. Possible blocked oil cooler.

Yeah I have an EB Trans in my AU. Just make sure you use a new trans cooler the old one could be full of bits and crap. Its not hard to swap - just make sure you use the AU bellousing - should be sweet.
