Default Installing a auto selector

Well i bought one of these(see below)

The only question i have is, do i need to pull out the console to install it.
I haven't got much idea of how it goes in, any advise would be welcomed

Thanks in advance.

Console out job .... and while you are there ... replace the selector globe with an LED globe.

6 bolts. 2 at the base of the console on the floor at the back, 2 under the rubber thing at the cup holders and 2 under the rubber thing under the ashtray.

pull the gear knob off too. pull it back into 1st. rip the console out. the rest is straighforward.

See aufalcon.com in the Tutorials section, it covers this operation.
