Hi Guys...
Need some info please: What is the longest passenger car on Australian Roads? and What is the longest passenger car (post 1990) on Australian Roads... No 4WDs (As in landcruiser. AWD passengers cars are ok though)

WH statesman = 5479 mm
AU Fairlane/LTD = 5140mm BA Fairlane = 4916 mm WM Statesman = 4922mm DA Fairlane = 5220mm NL Fairlane = 5122mm VS Statesman = 4989mm VZ Station Wagon = 4876–5033 mm BF Wagon = 5053mm That might help i guess.

Post 1990. P5 and P6 LTD. P6 LTD lenth is 5366mm. The big daddy of AU cars.
Sorry but the Marquis is about 5inch shorter than the P6. Steve |

It's been a while since I used the Australian Standard for carparks, but the carpark spaces where based on the overall dimensions of an XD Falcon Station Wagon....I remember it was over 5m long...can't remember exactly...code may have changed since.

What about the equivelent Statesman/Caprice? They definitely had long boots. But to answer the question I would say the Maybach too. And I would also guess at the WH Statesman for the longest Australian car post 1990 but stick with the Maybach for overall.

Are we talking about cars built in australia? or do imports count?, because if they do, the 1975 electras are about as big as they got

As far as Australian built cars go, it would have to be the WH statesman, and all up definetley the Maybach 62, which coincidentally is also the ugliest car going around.

Interesting note i heard that the VZ Crewman was the longest Australian built car- not a passenger vehicle but yeah.
