Go away. There is nothing happy about a new year.

I third that. I've never really understood the appeal of going out to the city, packed in amongst a million other people and getting wasted.

Only ever ventured into the city once, and did have a good night, but stayed sober (and it had everything to do with the person I was with, not the occasion). Didn't even realise when midnight happened though.

It all seems like a lot of fuss over nothing.

Next year will be just like this year, and last year, and every other year.
It's all the same.

So very true. I already know what's happening to me next year and it isn't good so I have nothing to celebrate :

But saying that, I do wish all a safe & happy 2009! :

This year is going to be a little more entertaining as will be celebrating with some good friends.

Happy New Year everyone.

For some it might not be that exciting but when you have doubts you will see much of 2008 but beating all odds by having my little princess and now seeing the start of 2009, I can't help but be grateful for every day.

Take care everyone :

Kerri

I hope this is the one and only thread, I got sick of seeing "merry Xmas" threads all over the place, it clog's up the site, no need for it.

I would be in a better mood if I didn't have such a bad end to last year. I might've even celebrated but alas... the building industry is rooted and I can't see it getting any better anytime soon.
