Love the look of it.
It is a shame we don't see many of them over here.
Yep, black would look good. ... Along with many other colours.

What you say may be true in the lower models in the range, but I think you will find that the Shelby flagship model is very, very well built.

5.4L Supercharged V8
402kw @ 4500rpm
0-60mph = 4.2 second

Damn, it just looks so awesome.

I want one.

Can anyone loan me some money?

What makes people say late model Mustang's built quality is poor?

Ford has hurdled many obstacles to achieve top notch reliability/built quality in the past 5-6 years.. The previous 2000-2002 Mustangs we received shouldn't reflect on the new Mustang in any shape or form, they're totally different cars in different era and different approach to quality by different CEO's. It's like comparing an EA to a EF/EL.

I have yet to see an American built car that I could say was quality. Yes I am heavily influenced from my days working at Ford which was during the time of the last Mustang Imports, which were woeful.

But I think this is reflective of the US approach on more than just making cars.

I'm not saying that they are terrible, but compared to a Falcon they aren't that good, in late 2007 I had a current model Mustang convertible as a rental whilst staying in Las Vegas. It's not as if anything was falling off, or there were huge gaps, it's more along the lines of the materials used were very cheap feeling, and simple things like the air vents, and the handbrake lever felt like they came out of 15K Kia.

In there home market it makes sense, as the Mustang is built to be a cut price and affordable fun car (from memory you can get a convertible Mustang for under 20K- US$, which is a lot cheaper than any of our Falcons), but by the time you get them out here it's a different story

By the time they get one out here they cost well over 100K when you count in the cost for importing, conversion, other government costs, so now your talking AMG C63 money, and I know which one will be built better, and which one will feel like it's worth that amount of money, and it won't be the Mustang.

Don't get me wrong I absolutely love these things, but over here they are just to darn expensive, kind of like a HSV W427

Would look fine if it were actually lower. Other than that it is a sexy car. If I win Lotto Tomorrow maybe an import is in order. AS IF

I think you'll find those wheels arent really that small, IMO those type of promo shots seem to always look like that. The way the front wheels are turned can make the rear wheels look small as the car can sometimes lean one way.

Looks great. IMO it's even better looking that the Ford GT. Regular model looks a bit plain, but this one really beefs it up

That was built by Giugiaro, not pininfarina. But your correct, that concept was a utilised in the update
