Default Post your Australia day weekend projects(house/garden/car)

hey all
thought it might be cool to have a thread of what people have done over the long weekend... as its quite a good opportunity to build or fix things in the yard or house or on the car..

here is Debzilla and my construction for the weekend.. only took a morninig tho
We dug a trench and put some ag pipe in from the downpipe as it spews water down onto the concrete as it had no piping connected
and we dug a path and laid the pavers.. its all clay and gravel so made it hard

I worked all weekend, so a pic of my workplace would be pretty boring.

I went for a float down the mighty Murray in Albury/Wodonga, took me and my mates 4hrs or so. I was the only one that didn't get burnt as I was wearing a big sombrero.

I fixed the rear spoiler on my wife to be car as she attempted to reverse out of the garage with the door of the garage still opening, the bottom of the door caught the rear spoiler and ripped it clean off. The garage door had to be realingned to open and close and the spoiler had 3 missing lugs and 3 borken clips, after rearaging 3 lugs and clips to different spots i was able to reattach the spoiler perfectly. Cost of a new one since the car is a festiva 2 door hatch was $800, not even worth claiming the insurance due to the excess.

Other than that is was freeking HOT here 100 degree humidity
