Default AU1 calipers and AU2/3 Master Cylinder??
I have a major issue with my car... the Mastrer Cylinder and booster are nearly shot and playing up badly...

I already bought an AU2/3 unit for a future upgrade, but due to not having the other parts, nor the funds to buy them... i'd like to install just the AU2/3 Master Cylinder and booster, but use my current AU1 calipers...

Can the calipers take the extra pressure of the bigger booster? can i get away with this mod until i upgrade the rest?

I'm in a pickle here...

I can't see why the calipers couldn't take the pressure, but your problem would be a stiffer than normal pedal. I don't know how much feel you would loose though.

If you've got the parts there it can't hurt to try.

My mechanic is researching it now... he will be the one doing the job, as he has more experience and tools... and i dont have the time...

Fingers crossed i can make it work... otherwise i'm screwed...
