Has anybody gone to the show at Acer Arena? I have a ticket for session A this afternoon and looking forward to it. My understanding is the shows startede yesterday and run til Sunday. Any feedback without giving away the whole show would be great...............

10mins from home won't suffer that much, I thinks its the 5.30 session also.
Will be interesting as I haven't been an avid follower of the show but when I do watch just love the pommy humour/banter and ofcourse the cars !

Well all, I have just returned from the Friday arvo session A (5pm) and I thought it was great. THe show goes for around 80 minutes, very well done and even feels a little like a episode of TG UK. They engage the crowd extremely well with some new and old (3D glasses) technology.

I wont ruin it for the guys (and gals) going but you certainly will have some fun. I got my picture taken with Dick Johnson, he and Steve where signing autographs and photos.

There is a bit of a car show with some very very impressive gear on show. A couple nice FPV's on show too.

Enjoy

No there isn't.

But you guys will love it. There's some cars on display in the 'foyer', and stands dotted around outside.

On a side note, there were a worrying number of men with Loreal bags. I hope they were for their mum's/girlfriends. :ymca:

Just got back from it, I don't want to ruin it for those who are yet to see it, but it is BLOODY AWESOME! if you think its great on the telly, its far better live on stage! and as far as ads go, i think some people wont mind they kind of advertising they do before the show...

I was there last night (friday). The show is very UK TG, but with a nice aussie twist. The drifting was awesome, and as said before the interaction with the crowd is great. The only bad part was the first 5-10 mins which was just sponser ads.

It was awesome seeing Jeremy and Hammond up close - This show will not dissapoint and TG fan or car fan.

Oh and the car show out the front is awesome.. mmm DB9 and 430 woot!

Those of you that went during the shows on Saturday, (and today), what were your track times?

We got 1.32 on Friday night.

Not from what they said last night, as they said the fastest Sydney time before last night was 1.52

A good show though. I still can'e believe that they actually get paid for doing it.

Jeez, I'd do it for nothing.
