Thumbs up

If anyone does go to the dyno. Please post your results and Likes of the place. Also he is using a Mainline Dyno. Very conservative machines these and are very good too. Software is very good whilst tuning or in shootout mode

Cheers

Tex a mainline dyno will read 30 to 40 hp lower than a dyno dynamics dyno....so when you last had yours dyno'd it would have been on the dynamics and not the mainline!!!!! so there for you still got good numbers for your car....Cheers Killer
oh and PS...............all you other blokes should have known that before rippin Tex off, don't all of you laugh too loud....we haven't seen your numbers yet :

HAHA....thats where you heard wrong....Allan Cliff was there and John from engine world, mine made 320 RWHP at only 4800 RPM on the mainline, which is about 370 RWHP on a dyno dynamics. And that was only at 4800 RPM with another 2200 RPM left in it, due to the lack of fuel that we could not get into it. AGAIN Allan Cliff should have told you, and the dyno picked up a voltage drop in the ignition system under load when the thermos kicked in. I got last week a brand new 950 ultra HP from Bruce, and i have found the ignition voltage drop problem which is now being fixed. SO going by last weeks numbers and all the other problems fixed John from engine world said it will be very close to 400 RWHP on the mainline and about 430 - 440 RWHP on the dyno dynamics. AND THATS WITHOUT A BLOWER :

I have a engnie sitting in the corner of our workshop doing nothing that will fix all your problems Tex. An upgrade to transmission and your diff may be nessasary, but it wont leave you with an embarrasing 140. It comes with all the goodies, (MSD distributer / 6al ignition box / mallory promaster coil / 4 into one extractors with 3 inch collectors / 850 DP carb / TFC highrise inlet manifold / 2V cylinder heads that have 4V valves with major porting work / custom camshaft / yella terra roller rockers mounted on 5/8 studs / hypertec pistons / and stroked to a 378. Another club member was going to buy it, and he has heard and seen it go and was very impressed, but in the ends he didnt have the funds, it will be going onto ebay shortly.

By what i can figure out, it has an offset 4ma crank, and it has the hypertec flat tops. If you are really interested, give these guys a ring, they are the ones that built it. The buisness owner is familiar with the engine as one other club member and myself has spoken to the buisness owner about the engine. He spent 20 grand with these guys when building this engine. Say it is the engine from the blood orange XB coupe that Gavin Sibley owned. When it was new (3 years ago) the engine knocked out 520HP at the flywheel.PRO HOGG PERFORMANCE
