Question SBS1 and SBS2 cricket and TDF

Hoping a TV person might be able to clear up something regarding the new SBS channel which is supposed to start soon.
Will the new SBS channel be HD or are will they both be SD, the reason I ask is that the cricket will be on SBS1 and Tour de France will be on SBS2 at the same time and I only have a SD box

Well SBS 2 is going now, it is essentially the old SBS News channel during the day, but with entertainment and Sport at night. SBS1 is the old SBS service (same as analogue)

SBS 1 & SBS 2 are both SD.
SBS HD is a copy of SBS1 but in that weird 720HD that SBS do.

So you will be fine with an SD box you wont be missing anything on SBS HD that aint on SBS1.

Meh. Tip and run isn't real cricket. It's what I used to play in primary school when we had to let the girls play.

too true.

also, i find it very hard to imagine englands 05 form will be replicated. that was a 1 off. how's freddy's form been in the 4 yrs since? simon jones? no trescothic, vaughen, harmison. sure the aussie side has changed somewhat as well but the guys that played well in the last series have shown that form on other occasions as well. we also managed to square the ledger with RSA over there with the same squad likely to hit the park for the first test.

Yeah getting zero sleep. Damn tour de france, and now that the Ashes is on, I see more sleep deprivation in my future.

yup... if it wasn't enough I already didn't get enough sleep, now I'm up watching it too. Last night I fell alseep at 1am and woke up just as Astana finished. I keep telling myself to hit the sack early, but it doesnt happen. Watching a bike race does seem boring at first, but once you start watching it's hard to stop.

Luckily I'll be on holiday next week and can watch it all
