Was talkin to MRBAXR6
They brought out the Stig on the show and got him to take off the helmet - it was schuie and everyone went AHHH and then at the end or something they said it was a joke. Im sure schuie has been the Stig before but there have been heaps of different drivers being The Stig

I thought in the new series Jezza says at the end of the 'Stig' reveal of Schuey "or is he" thereafter reigniting the debate... (haven't seen the Ep though).
On a positive I love the Cool Wall magnets that came with my mag. A little bit of debate with the Mrs, but the BMW X6 is the most Seriously Uncool and Top Gear Dog is the most Sub Zero...

On the final episode of TGUK, Jeremy mentions that Schuey is going back to F1 for the end of the year, which coincides with them not needing him until next year. Sort of a "jocular" comment really.

Shoemaker, can't be the Stig, there's not enough room to hide his chin under one of those Simpson Helmets....
But he may be the Stig's German Cousin! But come to think of it, he could be the reason that Clarkson continues on with the Germans invading Poland etc... |

There is a pretty strong rumour that the Stig is really Ben Collins.
When you read the report into Richard Hammond's jet car crash (http://web.archive.org/web/200709280...ardhammond.pdf) the article mentions the name Ben Collins several times as a "high speed consultant". Ben Collins was a test driver for a number of F1 teams and has taken part in TOCA; and IIRC he will be a co-driver of one of the Holden cars at Bathurst. |
