Default Are These The Best Looking Trucks Ever!

I've seen these Peterbuilt 379 a bit now and im convinced that they must be the best old school looking truck made! Anyone else know of a competitor for this truck in the look stakes.

No worries Ferg51, I think I will hunt down a copy to watch again, it's been a few years and an awesome movie, similar to CHRISTINE.
Watching poor old Dennis Weaver trying to outrun it.

Sorry for stepping on your thread FORDMUSCLE 1965

I still rate the R series as a tough looking rig, the ones I have got around serving queen and country are 5 speed crash boxes, 6x6, Bushmaster recovery rigs. tough as guts but not a highway machine by any stretch of the imagination. Thats what our mack 430hp and 460hp fleetliners and scania P340 4x4s are for.

thats what we have at work still for the army... they are apparently updating them in 3 or 4 years...
theyre tough when they dont sit around the yard like some of the ones i get do and the seals go all hard and leak like a siv...
theyre starting to decommission some of them now i heard the other day...

They were called Flintstones. I love them to death. Very heavy and strong truck. Based on a R model tho you should have a look at the yank sites for all the nice makes overthere and the weird ones too.

Cheers

Benz brought ford in 1999 i think and rebranded them Sterlings. Check out the Silver Star version. they are nice with a train behind them.
