on a resent sit back and brain storming session i came up with the idea of swapping the 2l pinto for a 265 hemi, i Just want to know at this stage if this is just another : dream or a viable idea. and what probable modifications to the steering breaking and suspension should also be carried out. seeing as i m not looking to build a strip only car.

Put a eb,ed ,ef 4litre in there and run a carbie like my burnout car it should be a straight forward swap with plenty of grunt and the motors are cheap.Good luck with it mate :

P.S probably use a supra box as there a fairly common mating to Chrysler engines haven't given much thought to the diff suggestions on an appropriate option are also welcome

Hemi's are quite a bit longer than the Ford 6 so you might be pushing to get one in there.
A tape measure will confirm though. |

BA 4L engines are pretty cheap, you could probably find a written off car with everything you need for a steal.
