WOW thats gotta be the best set of close ups ive ever seen, and they were in focus. Wonder if he'll stand back a bit next time an alky funny car comes to the line?

Looks like an oil pump fitting or line failure, heaps of oil presure at 9000 rpm. Car doesn't look to bad but i spose it will have to go on the jig to make sure its still strait.

Pitty it was a mustang!!

That is ballsy. The heading is a little misleading. Would have been doing about 60kph I'd guess but it looked like it was going to mount the wall. To hold your position so close to impact is well beyond the call of duty. I'd have been out of there so fast it would make Zoidberg blush.

One of those alky funny cars would probobly doin close to a 100mph at 60 foot so i wouldnt be suprised if it was doin more than 60kph on its roof when it hit the wall, lookin through the camera, he probobly wasn't aware of how much danger there was till it was too late to react. May need some new jocks for chrissy though lol.

Why did this get moved to the 'Drag racing' forum?
Its not exactly a discussion about racing.

I posted this in 'The Bar' this morning and it has been merged to this thread in the 'Drag Racing' forum.
I was questioning why it was moved here, because it is not a discussion about racing, but about the photos taken and the luck/balls of the bloke that took the photos. It just happens that the photos are of drag racing.
