Assassins Creed II and Uncharted II would be 2 on my list for any one who may be reading this!
If on a bit of a budget I would highly recommend Metal Gear Solid 4 : Guns of the Patriots. It is platinum now and only $44.95 at JB HiFi. Really good game.

Hrrm depends what sort of gaming your into.
Im a huge car racing nut, Formula 1 2006 is a great game, challenging and now... Cheap.. GT5 Prolouge is good, the proper version due out 1st quater next year. GTA is a good game also, although i got a bit bored of that fairly quickly. |

Uncharted 2 and Assassins Creed 2. Just finished UC2 and finished AC2 3 weeks ago. I got UC2 on launch but got side tracked because a. Modern Warfare 2 came out. B. AC2 then got released and C. I just got my console back from sony 45 days after purchase the Wifi and Bluetooth failed. They sent me a new console plus new controller etc. So now I have 2 controllers, thanks sony.
UC2 (Uncharted 2) and AC2 (Assassins Creed 2) are both very close to GOTY. I would say UC2 wins by just a smidge. |

anyone know any good split screen multiplayer games, leaning towards racing style so i can verse my mates. im a bit bummed that most games are only multiplyer over the net, kinda leaves a lot to be desired when my mates come over to play ps3 and we are stuck taking turns of laps on NFS lol.
fifa 10 is epic but and i cant wait to pick that up soon!

What's the best PC game ever?
There is no answer. There will NEVER be an answer. Many games are good for their own reasons...get a few games over time and carefully research/read reviews. You'll get a good feel for what is worth spending money on.

If your into racing games... get a Logitech G25 off the net (bout $300 mine was) and NFS Shift.
Legen - wait for it - DARY!!! So much fun, you can feel every bump through the wheel just like a real car, and the wheel will turn and yank itself out of your hands when u hit stuff etc. Its so awesome just buy one and you won't look back! |

Batman: Arkham Asylum. With the PS3 version you can play as The Joker in the challenge rooms. However not in the story.
Arkham Asylum 2 was announced a few days ago too. Should come out next year, or 2011. |

Another one to hit my list of favs is singstar. doesn't matter what edition because the store has 1066 songs for download at 2.45ea. I just downloaded 8 songs and I have singstar pop. Might sound sissy but I love belting out power ballads and love songs lol. So all my purchases were pre 1985, I threw poison in for good measure.

2.45 each? Ouch I rekon! Lips allows you to use your own songs, any songs, for however much it cost you to acquire them - for someone with a broadband internet connection that's 'not much' ;).
Still, best PS3 exclusive title has got to be Uncharted 2! It's only new out but easily the best PS3 title I've played and almost one of the best games I've ever played. It's won heaps of awards too, best graphics, best story, best sound, best gameplay! http://www.metacritic.com/games/plat...d2amongthieves |

ive been playing Assassin's Creed 1 and enjoying it, also COD 4 although its a short game, still fun. i bought Juiced 2 just to race around in the XR8 hehe, and let the inner ricer come out. Cant wait too get AC2 and COD 4 2. there just sooo bloody expensive atm, i cant justify paying $100 for a game, so ill just wait.

I can only recommend the Modern Warfare games if you plan to play them multiplayer. I play the PC versions and they are excellent FPS'ers but in my opinion, you don't get your value out of them if you don't play them on the net. They're just too short. |
