looking for some pics of the mid `60s long bonnet thames trucks. i think they were called a " K " series ???
any body no of a link or have you got some photos?? thanks this is dave351cid on my brothers login. |

I know of some older blokes that drove them in the 1960's, they rekon that they were the worse trucks they ever drove.
They had axles the size of broom sticks and they used to drop valves all the time, they were called "Thames Traders". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thames_Trader

That is a very long way from the truck I drive now... got it 2 weeks ago.
FSR 850 Isuzu. Auto, LCD touch screen in the dash, navigation, bluetooth hands free and plug my iPhone in to the AUX jack and have my iPod going... Not to say I haven't had horrible trucks as I have, all rigids. But it really goes to show how far technology has come.

this is the K series that we were looking for this is the cab over / short bonnet style Mk1 Mk2 this must have been an older model ?? .
