Not a bad looking car, Don't like the taillights on the hatch at all. Steering wheel's a bit busy but overall nice interior. I'd have no trouble owning one.

They've screwed up the rear lights, on both the sedan and (especially) the hatch. The airdam's triangular theme (that is very similar to FG XR's) is out of sync with the rest of the design, which, judging by my initial reaction, is overdone and busy. In saying that, I had the same impression of the Fiesta when I first saw it in the pics, but seeing it in the flesh/metal/plastic quickly changed my mind. I hope the same thing happens with this. But the rear lights on the hatch... shocking. Big mistake. I wish Ford good luck with this, it's probably the most important car for them in a very long time.

Don't think this will work well in Europe, it seems to have a bit too much american influence in the design, interior looks tops, outside looks terrible. |

The sedan looks great, and the hatch looks good but I'd pick the sedan over the hatch. Very modern design, makes the current Focus look dated which I think it is.

intersetingly it has the same "cut" into the lower door as the falcon.

Interesting that 60% of Mondeo Euro sales are TITANIUM spec..Thats a high sales level for a top spec model

I think the 2/fiesta, 3/focus and 6/mondeo floor pans and suspension are shared between the companys. Lets face it the only difference between the fiesta, focus, mondeo and falcon externally soon will be the size.

I wonder if this car has a global grill or if the US get their own (sorry I didn't read the whole story). I wouldn't be surprised if what we get here is slightly tweeked for us Non-Americans.
I've got to say the proportions on the sedan are near perfect, the hatch I'd have to see on the road.

Hi, may I take your order?
I'll have a Silver TDCI hatch thanks! Would you like the powershift gearbox with that? Yes, Yes please! Back end of the hatch looks like a mini Mondeo doesn't it!

Not a big fan of the focus from what I see in those pics. Rear end looks horrid and the interior is way too busy and overdone IMO. |

But seriously, I love the style of the body. The current Focus hatch is okay but the sedan is way out of date. The new sedan really gives the brand a cosmetic boost. The interior looks a bit busy, but it is nice...

I like it. Nice styling and a nice fresh look over the current LV
I heard that there will be no more 5cyl turbo for the ST's. Going back to a 4 pot. I didn't read the article. Is this the American or European version? |

not sure if it's just due to the colour but i think the styling suits the hatch more than the sedan. it's good that it hasn't dramatically changed and you can still see the link with the current crop of cars & the global look with common stylings across the focus, mondeo & falcon.
with the usa getting the update there might be some more upgrades at better prices
