Default Police want help to catch Rundle St YouTube hoon

http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/police...-1225838268044

How the police failed to get his license plate is beyond me, the car was stationary enough for the guy filming to walk over to the window.

Did the cop sit there and wait for the driver to go past before deciding to turn around and go after it? Why didn't the police officer move the unmarked car into the middle of the road?

The sirens were going off and the hoon was just sitting there, unreal that the cop couldn't get the licence plate.

A burnout like that is really dumb and makes the rest of us look bad. I'm not sure wether the cops relaise that that is in fact a low speed stunt. Won't matter they will punish him if they catch him.

That said, I'd love to help the cops find him, but I need to trim my nails.

Knob jockey's like this need to be shown the error of their ways preferably with a blunt object.

More fuel for the SA premier Mr Rann and his election promise to give "HOON" drivers a maximum 3 yr JAIL term for a 1st offence and also for a proposed maximum 5 yr JAIL term for "street racing"

I saw this video yesterday.. Pretty sure the cops will have already caught up with him and it's just a big media stunt. What better way to push even more ridiculous anti-hoon laws in time for the next election?

Anyone patting this hoon on the back shall receive negative rep by me.

Public burnouts are not clever especially when there is a chance of hurting innocent bystanders.

This type of video is not condoned by the forum, it can stay up in the hope this fool is caught, he does nothing for the Adelaide members trying to find a place to have legal drags.

The closest thing that guy needs to get to a 'pat on the back' is a slap across the back of the head, while removing his keys from his possession

Fun is not endangering the lives of public nor having complete disrespect for public property...

Fun is LEGALLY taking it to the track and racing against the clock and your mates...

That isn't really having fun, not within a public crowd without any safety rails or other safety measures.

So I suppose you are one of these young fellas who think they are invincible and can do anything they want and not damage anything/anyone? Seriously, you give the good young guys a bad name and make the laws tougher for the rest of us

If you want to have fun doing this, go to the racetrack and do it as much as you want

Doesn't necessarily have to be a race track, but a private road/shed foundation/burnout pad. There is a time and place, and the middle of a major road is NOT the time OR place.

You are an idiot.

You are exibit A as to why we have problems that draw so much unwanted attention to GENUINE car enthusiasts and clubs.

Morons who do this kind of thing or condone it should be banished from any car club, forum or event involving motorsport.

Your kind are NOT the kind of member we need or want to promote a responsible use of vehicles.

What a smart well thought out reply. Some of us here wouldnt be that much older than you, some here would be the same age as you, but with much more maturity.

Sure a lot of people would of done silly things on the road, but it's common sense to realise whats wrong and right, and to condone the above video around a crowd of people. If you think it's not dangerous your dumber than you already look.

If you think the forum is too sooky for you, perhaps you should stop sooking about others and go to the other hoon websites where you can all pat each other on the back

I had a knob behind me at the AFD in Vic doing burnouts behind me.I just couldn't believe it.It just takes one mistake and he would of ended up smashing in the back of my car.

I hope he gets everything thats coming to him. Its like the ****a on ACA about a month ago out my way in the National Park that was filmed drifting with total disregard for any public safety. Its a shame that it usually has to come to someone dying before these absolute morons finally get the message.

Crush his car FTW

This is dangerous territory guys.

Yes the driver was an idiot but giving the wowsers more ammunition to use to make laws that will cause massive grief to ordinary car enthusiasts is not a good idea.

Look at the "bikie laws", theoretically a good idea but have already been abused and misused on quite a number of occasions.

e.g. How is your next cruise going to go when "hoon laws" prevent cars in groups of more than 3 and driving side by side from the lights regardless of how fast is automatically "street racing"?

Its not smart, nor is it helpful for genuine enthusiasts who NEED a venue to legally let loose.
