Hi,
Can someone help me as I have never worked on a heater box before and I have searched the site but can't work out my problem. My Mk1 escort started leaking coolant from the heater box so I took It to Pt Adelaide radiators. Cost of new was $250-$300, so fixed the old one $45 Put It back in with the water pump hose and inlet manifold hose going into heater box with no shut-off valve - no heat (engine hot). Rang Sprints, they said you need the valve on hose from water pump to inlet? (top fitting at heater box) Did that - NO HEAT |

Escorts didnt have an external valve from the heater box.......did you connect all the control wires back up to the heater controls or are they working?
follow the control cable and see if they are still connected inside the heater box |
