So my question is this:
A car maker builds three different vehicles on the same architecture: A two seater ute , a family wagon and an upmarket luxury vehicle. All have the same chassis , engine etc but different bodies and all are different colours. The ute is white the wagon is red and the luxobarge is black. Would the maker fit say an uprated air con to the luxury car and a basic one to the ute and family wagon? Clearly the heat gain for the white ute will be less than the black luxury sedan with the red wagon somewhere in between. Anyone know for sure? Peter. |

When I was building them they were the basically the same but there was a high and low series model which was to do with climate control. Hardware was the same.
That is why utes can get very very cold :-) |

I once met the guy who was the importer/supplier of the a/c unit that is fitted to both Holden and Ford. He is very wealthy and at the time had four different model Ferraris.
