It's no worse for you than eating 2 or 3 pieces of KFC chicken. Which is probably pretty bad lol

I had to laugh at a US food show where they had a burger with bacon and cheese in the middle but the bread in this case was two slabs of deep fried foie gras. Just one of those bread substitute slices of foie gras is roughly equivalent to the kJ content of the entire Double Down burger.
Never tried the double down myself, I'm content with the plain old fillet burger and two pieces of chicken when I feel the need. |

In the 4 weeks they were here I had two, both zingers and I loved them. Felt like a greasy gluttonous pig afterwards, but you only live once.

Calories? There will be plenty of worse things about it than just the calories! Calories alone are not bad for you. Trans fat, saturated fat, the fact that those 600 calories (330 of which are from fat! LOL) have absolutely no nutritional value. It contains 83% of the recommended daily sodium intake, and 50% of the cholesterol intake. But yes, personal choice. I will stay away, I have a hard enough time trying to maintain my health as it is.

Assuming it's the same as "The Double" we had here, it's just 2 fillets with bacon, cheese and barbecue sauce between them in both Zinger and Original.
I'll admit it, they were the only things tasty on their menu. I'm dying for another one right now. |

How can it be called a burger when it doesn't have any bread??
Never tried one and really don't want too. Not a big fast food junkie at the best of times. Give me a fresh, home cooked meal anyday over fast food.

a combining form extracted from hamburger, occurring in compounds the initial element of which denotes a special garnish for a hamburger or a substitute ingredient for the meat patty: baconburger; cheeseburger; fishburger. Don't see any mention of bread? I agree with you on home cooked meals. What a lazy world we live in. |

Only problem is they make a mess when the sauce oozes out the end into the pack. I've had an original fillet one, havent tried a zinger one.
Like everybody else said it's no worse than a couple of bits of chicken. In fact the fillets dont have the layer of grease under the coating that the original recipe pieces have. It's really not a greasy as you might think.

I had a stack of them, zinger only not the other gay one, needs bread in my opinion
So really no different to what I get, zinger bacon cheese no green garbage and extra chicken and supercharged the sauce! although the chicken is slightly different but anyways.. Ohh and epicmealtime.com FTW, I love their stuff, now that's a cooking show I'll watch, not this master chef crap! |

They used to call themselves kentucky Fried Chicken?.
I often look at the pieces in it and I can't identify which part of the bird it's from. |
