Default Jacking up the Mondeo???

OK, anyone know how to jack up the Mondeo so that I can get axle stands under the jacking points on the sills? There are supposedly "lifting" points behind the front wheels but I'm not sure where these are.

go down to the local tyre shop and ask where they would stick their trolley jacks as they don't put them on the jacking points.

Thanks for the idea but my local tyre shop has a "low" hoist that they use for modern cars.

They always use the hoist for my cars.

The tyre guy that fitted the mags to my previous Mondeo used a trolley jack on the sill jacking points and left some bent metal. I haven't been back...

Hello - this info was posted elsewhere for a Mk4 Mondeo. The diagram comes from the Ford TIS system aparently.

Great, thanks for that. Now I just have to figure out exactly what the black dots correspond to under the car! I think the lifting points at the front are where the subframe bolts on to the body.
