Default fuel problem

hi just wondering if anyone has had this problem on a ef my car is dual fuel runs fine on gas, not at all on petrol atm i changed fuel pump (is running checked)changed filter and plugs the wierd part is when i replaced the locking ring on the fuel pump the pressure from the lineswas released then when i tried to start it did for about 20 seconds then died and now it wont start at all could it be the fuel pressure regulator?

its not somthing as silly as a change over switch or lock of solinoinde is it? or wireing to these things
