Due to the new Vic Road laws, you can pay up to $200 for a RWC.

The extra costs with a RWC are because the tester needs to have a link to Vic Roads via the internet, Storage of all photos for 7 years and a camera to take the pics. Also the extra time to actually conduct the RWC.

Do not think you need the rego papers. Just need to fill out a transfer form, from Vic Roads. Will have the seller and buyer information to fill out. You and the buyer get a copy. Just make sure it has the current rego sticker.

Yeah you can thank vicroads for making mechanics take photos of their RWC jobs they do....
Vicroads can choose to audit and request to see the photos and work performed by the mechanics Due to this the RWC as mentioned has gone up from around $80 to $150 and onwards |

the photo thing has probably come about from some testers in the past abusing the system.

I charge 150 for cars 250 for busses and 350 for trucks we put our prices up by about 50 bucks as its takes a extra 15-20 to do all this extra stuff now for vic roads pain in the backside but there just trying to get rid of the dodgy rwc testers.
