Thumbs down Staff attack ruins road safety initiative

source; http://www.abc.net.au/news/2012-01-0...w&section=news

A road safety initiative in the Eurobodalla on the New South Wales far south coast has been scrapped after an attack on staff.

The Summer Bus was set up more than six years ago to provide drinkers with a cheap, safe way home after a night out in Batemans Bay.

The anti drink-driving initiative has proved successful until this year, when a security guard was assaulted on New Year's Eve.

That attack followed a rock throwing incident three weeks ago.

Prior's Bus manager, Paul Gilligan, says he has had enough and has cancelled the service.

Eurobodalla Shire Council's road safety officer Karen Sydenham says she is disappointed that the actions of a minority have ruined the service.

This is how you deal with trouble makers on a bus (or train in this instance)...a video that's gone viral from Scotland...
Of course, the passenger who got rid of the little toe-rag is facing assault charges...

Don't you love the drivers comments..."Yeah big man, get this wee baw bag off"..."Boom...ye don't mess with the big man!"...

always one who f**Ks it for everyone else!

The culprits if caught should be named and shamed to the local area so everyone who used the service knows who caused it to cease for them!
