Best car he ever owned???????????
What other bits of scrap does he drive around in. I bet a steel skip bin would be more road worthy than that.

I think the generalization re "madmax" is about the cars in the movie in general, not the cars Max drove.... the car looks like it came out of the wastelands and thats where it belongs....

I have to laugh. I wonder how many people here have bought a car without reg or RWC, got it home, then taken it for a spin round the block? How many out there have bought a parts car and done the same?
I highly doubt he was on a main road. He may have been meters from his house. He was just excited about getting a new car. He wasn't picked up for hooning. As for the best car he's ever owned? His last cars could have been $1000 bombs that are full of rust, brakes don't work. The list goes on. It could very well be that this car was the best he owned. Not everyone can afford to go out and buy a late model car.

Since he had no headlights he'd be better of with a torch at night time. The car might be perfectly fine to run, and I wouldn't have anything against that as a cop if I were to see it, I would probably just tell him to head home. But something that battered is surely gonna be picked up by the cops.

I put 45L of fuel in it on the way home too, just made it to the servo as I got it with basically no fuel. I take it for a spin around my block when I do work to it, to see how it drives afterwards but thats it. |

Cant say I have ever driven an unregistered car which was so blatently unroadworthy. If your stupid enough to drive a car which is missing headlights, bumper bars and bald tyres like that then you really take the cake.
Have only driven unregistered car twice and both times was to get my roadworthy and each time passed with flying colours. Driving a car is such poor condition is like raising a big red flag to the bull... and to top it off... he was driving while suspended.

it`s one thing to take a fully working unregistered car for a blocky, but you`d be pretty annoyed if one of his wheels that where held on with 2 wheel nuts came off and he had a stack with you.

lol, a turbo r32 with rear tyres destroyed by burnouts... that describes a heck of a lot of r32's...
i dare say a few hours re-assembling it, a quick coat of jam and it would look just like any other r32. |

If you had a suspended licence why would you drive this, the first cop car that saw you would pull you over.
Just asking to be caught. |

For millenia natural selection has ensured that stupid humans did not reproduce or even survive very long. Then we got "enlightened" and decided that the smart and wise thing to do was to protect stupid people which has led to a plague of idiots. So who are the REALLY stupid people, the ones with low IQ that just do stupid things all the time or the ones that protect them by forcing society to be dumbed down to accommodate them....... |

I call it stupidity .

He wasn't exactly a saint before Poland either, the brown shirts probably would have had a kill score in the tens of thousands before then. Yes it should have been impounded I agree, no matter what brand, make, model of car if its in that condition, it shouldn't be on the road.
