Default Spotted Mad Max Replicas

Today I saw a pair of Mad Max replicas one the coupe and the other a 4 door with the lot. Light bar signwriting the works (the interceptor). Appeared to be a freshly completed project/s as they looked immaculate.
Unfortunatly had no time to stop and no camera either. They were at the Nudgee , Brisbane , servo on the gateway. Anyone seen them before? Love to have another chance of a closer look.

A replica Interceptor appeared in a thread recently at Queensland Raceway ? Was being used as a pace car. Did you read the number plate?

As for the coupe... that is new?

The Yellow Interceptor from Caloundra was for sale for several years, no idea what happened to it.

And I know of a "March Hare" replica (based on the XA) which also used to live on the sunshine coast area.

Pity you didnt get any pictures... woulda been able to say yes or no if i recognised them at least! lol

Heres mine... along with Dhrus FAWD...

We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.
