Sorry to go OT WUB913, but in your sig you have euro bodykit listed as a factory option, I'm assuming for the BF listed above it.

What is a Euro bodykit on a Falcon??

"Euro bodykit"

I didnt even no that I had that there haha,

In my eyes the mk 2s havnt been very popular, mainly because i think the touch screen and the front bar havnt been enough for people to upgrade into from there FGs though we have been getting alot of orders for Limited Editions,in addition the ECO BOOST is doing really well!!!!!

Will these be the same price as the G6 Limited Edition - now $36,490 I believe?

Also, it's a shame only the utes are getting sat-nav

I would think it would be a better option to put Sat Nav in Sedan and Reverse Camera in Utes, Im looking foward to seeing what the wheels are going to look like, and without giving much away they are a little more than a G6

Yeah that's just a standard photo with the regular 18" wheels.

http://www.ford.com.au/latest-offers...lia/new-falcon <-- they even used a ute for the sedan image

I became aware of this last week as I was shopping for an XR6 Turbo ute with luxury pack.

The dealer doesn't seem to have all of the info and I'm not going to commit one way or the other until I have all the details. Eg, I was told the wheels are the same as the luxury pack however there was no mention of "paint finishes" (which sounds too tacky for my tastes!).

I'm told that you can't get premium sound in the limited edition which I can live without however I definitely want climate control which doesn't seem to get a mention. EDIT: just realised single zone climate control is standard, so that's all good.

Can anyone at Ford provide any concrete info?

The other unknown of course is the price. The dealer would love me to sign up now but I'm not going to do that in case I find out this will be cheaper than I thought!

im serious, ecoboosts are quite popular.

On another note no pictures have been released of these wheels im in the same boat as everyone else "Unique 19inch Alloys With Paint Finishes"

you cannot get premium sound in the limited edition though they do come with the prestige audio which is standard thorughout the xr6 range anyway.

Could this SVP be a way of celebrating 20 years of the Falcon XR6?

Was talking to a dealer recently about getting into an XR6T and I asked about the SVT. They might have let slip a figure of $47,990, july/august timeframe. We'll see what happens but I might be waiting a few months unless I get a good deal on a standard model

Up on the site now

$37,990 drive away XR6 Limited Edition Manual
$45,990 drive away XR6 Turbo Limited Edition Manual

Utes are $34,490 and $39,490 respectively.

Add $2k for the 6speed auto as usual I guess.

Thanks for the heads up!

I notice the wheels are the regular style ones? I didn't know they came in 19s?

Based on the quote I was given previously I'd expect to be able to get this plus tint and heavy duty towbar for no more than the RRP.

Sorry to say but I don't think theres gonna be much, if any at all flexibility on those prices. Because of all the extras included, they will be sticking to their prices I'd say.
Because when I bought my 2011 Limited Edition XR6 the best any dealer could do with really good negotiation was to knock about $100 off

I get the feeling those aren't the wheels they will be using, they just haven't got pictures of the limited edition I'd say

Finally some actual photos of it. Ford marketing is hopeless sometimes... Even the dealer's I asked about it last week had no concrete details.

Looks like standard 19" rims from the luxury pack, and the black dash surround from the luxury models (G6 etc?).

Doesn't look to bad. Still not a fan of the MKII XR front end
As for the wheels, they look like a new set of wheels because they arent the luxury pack wheels
These are the luxury pack wheels

Not sure whether I like the wheels on this limited edition, their sporty looking and look good as a 19", but not sure whether I personally like them. They'll probably grow on me.

Some people will be happy that they've gone to the piano black interior, but I personally like all mine in silver, but I don't think they'll have a problem selling them.
I like the price I got my 2011 Limited Edition XR6 for better than the new price though

The pic you posted are the Luxury pack wheels for the FG MK1. The ones in the carsales ad are for the MK2. I personally prefer the MK1s
