Default How many k's do you do in a year?

& what sort of Ford?
I've done about 7000km's in the last 6 months or so in my Rebel since I got it, so it looks like about 14,000 a year

That's only 570ish kilometers a week. Not that unheard of! I used to do about that at my old job, 42 km each way 5 days a week. 420km just to work and back, plus whatever I do during the week to see the mrs, pub, see mates etc.

These days I'm doing about 350 a week so about 18,000-20,000 a year.

Recent history.
EA2, 270,000km in 5 years
EL 82,000km in 2.3 years
AU2 110,000km in 2.5 years
BA GT-P 84,000km in 20 months
BA2 F6 105,000km in 3 years
FG2 XRT 8,000km in 3 months

There were a few other cars in there but they were either not Fords or I only had them a few weeks/months.

Hmmm I did 205,000km in the Festiva over the course of 10 years. That included it being off the road a total of around 2.5 years due to travel.

In the Focus... well lets see. Bought Late Jan 2011 with 8,000km on the clock and it now has 42,000km.

So... whats that... 18 months minus around 5 months where it was in the garage while travelling.. makes it 34,000km in 13 months.

So... still around the 30k a year average give or take.

If only I could drive to other countries......

maybe just over 15,000 over 3 cars
my wife's rav 4 does the most at around 12,000 a year
her little 121 that i drive would be lucky to do 2,000-3,000 a year
the coupe, maybe 1,000

it is great living around 5 k's from work - and my wife works around 11 k's from home
so all up we cover around 32km each day going to work

The Festiva is the most reliable car I have ever owned. At 205,000km it had an accident. Prior to that, it drove like new, had the same economy from new. 'Repairs' included top and bottom radiator hoses, rear bearings a few times... thats about it.

Factory clutch, factory front rotors and bearings. Anyone who has owned one that has not been abused will tell you they are cheap, trouble free way to get around. Oh, that engine went into a mates Festiva to do another whole bunch of kays before it was crashed again lol.... The guy who did the engine details transfer said the engine number combination was "Lucky" for the Chinese lol... perhaps that had something to do with it???

Felt like it could have done another 200,000km...

Don't get me started... still in mourning.....

Given the amount of time I've owned my car and the amount of kilometres I've driven, it works out to 11,700 km per year. I currently drive about 200-250 km per week, I reset the trip meter each week and try to reign in how much driving I do. So pretty low compared to some of you guys, and I thought I was doing too much driving! At one stage I was only driving 70 km per week.

As a driving instructor in the laser 1200 - 1500 / week (2 - 3 tanks a week). Since I retired, 1 tank every 4 - 6 weeks in the AU - about 11,000km in 18 months. But when I do drive it I really enjoy myself.

That's the most important thing.
I drove a taxi for a couple of years in mid 90's, it made me really bored with driving so I had motorcycles for years & drove a small car.
Started enjoyed driving again when I got the Falcon in late 2011

It lead's a very good and easy life, I would say 90% of that 60,000klm's I've done would be hwy aswell, as it is only used for weekend/holiday adventures, and getting out of the town.
