Default qld personalised plates transfer

hey hey, just wondering if anyone knows what the deal is with transferring ownership to an interstate buyer? I know how to do it for qld - qld but I have an interested person from nsw but wasn't sure what the go was with transferring the ownership to someone in another state. I dont want to find out down the track they are still noted down as being owned by me

You can not transfer plates between states.

If the person is from NSW they will have to go to the RTA and get NSW issued plates.
