I did mine (SZ) not long ago and found there's not much to connect to on the car side of the ICC radio socket. Did the job a bit differently though, I used a PS amp out of an AU1 which has rear L+R and subby, fitted a SH territory sub speaker I got from Robbo's in Vic into the spot where it's normally fitted in the high series (eg Titanium) in the rear end to the right of the tailgate.
Ended up installing a RCA Line converter using the Rear Left and Right speaker outputs which are accessible just below the R&L centre pillars, you'll need to remove the front door kick panels and find the right speaker pairs in the looms- look for pairs of wires that are twisted together then verify the colour markings against the wiring diagrams supplied in the tech resources section. Best line converter to use is this one (SS103):https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/387961049265make sure you can see two little audio transformers inside as these stop earth loop (DC current) noise. |
