I am looking to move a vehicle of around 1.8T. Most Car Floats you rent from a servo are rated to 1.2T.
I have a vehicle rated to tow up to 3T that will tow it (Mitsubishi Triton), with an electronic brake controller. All above board. Does anyone know if a Trailer rated for a 2T load can be rented anywhere in the Newcastle area? Lukeyson

Try the main mobs that do a lot of industrial / building equipment hire.
How far is it going? Would a flatbed cash job be an option?

From Bobs Farm (near Anna Bay) to Wallalong (near Hinton/Morpeth). And after a day or two, back again. About 50km each way.

In that case I assume you will be hiring twice?? Once you price a trailer see if any one you know can connect you with a flat bed opperator. May not be much difference between the 2, especially when a standard duty car trailer costs about $80-$100 for 4 hours.
