G'day all, is it possible to fit series 2 headlights into a series 1 AU Fairlane??
I've purchased a replacement which is a series 2, the globes are H7 where the series 1 have H4 globes. |

It is possible mate..
What month is your S1 fairlane..? Mine is an early one and it has H7's. Don't think I've seen an AU fairlane use H4's before..?

I've seen AU Fairlanes with H4 globes, I know someone with one. I doubt you could...it would be a massive stuff around with the wiring to change your car to H7 globes, and to change the headlights to suit H4 globes would be a task in itself...Whats the condition of the lights? Would you be interested in selling them if you can't get them to work?

Unfortunately the owners manual I have is for a series 2 which states both globes are H7.
If some one has a series 1 manual could they please check. Tomorrow I'll double check which globes are in my Millennium head lights. |
