Hi All,
The windows in my wife's AU have stopped working. I have cleaned the contatc points and have changed all relays & fuses, yet still nothing..No sound no power to windows at all... I removed the door lining and applied power direct to the window motor and it works there, but nothing with the buttons on either side att all.. Anything i should be looking for ? Many Thanks

The connection where the door harness plugs into the main one on the A pillar? And, there is in the Fuse Box under the dash a circuit breaker for Power windows.
Something like this: |

From memory it is a yellow wire with a grey stripe. Anyway there are the only two wires that are the same when you look at the connector harness on the main window switch. One of them is the power feed from the fuse panel, the other is the outgoing power feed for the rest of the switches. Use a test light or a multimeter connected to a known good body ground to determine which is which. It will be the same colour wire on the ancillary switches. Test for power at each switch to work out where the break in the circuit is. |

If you need to get a new switch, you can get them here cheaper than ebay.
