That would be a BF or BFII... I think BFII still had the Boss available...

What year model?

As far as mods, well there are the normal things such as Bluepower Cold Air Intake, headers, exhaust etc.

Then you have superchargers available, just depends on budget and what you ultimately want to achieve..

Not a great way to tell but a BF has the different tail light effect to BA.

Did BA2 get the ZF?..hmm..IIRC BA2 brought in the T56 but I thought the ZF started with BF1.

As for mods if you want bulk power go straight to blower, dont mess around, if you just want it tickled the usual CAI, exhaust and tune should see a decent improvement.

Perosnally Id just get a CAI and cat back and enjoy the car for what it is.

Mod motors and forced induction goes together well !!
Just keep to conservative tune etc.
Where a wide power band is king.
Centrifugal or twin screw doesn't mater..
Could spend $1500 on exhaust and gain 20Kw in top rpm..
If blown it would have near 100 kw over whole power band easy..
On conservative tune where it looks after trans etc..

With 6 speed auto its almost certainly a BF, not many would pay the $8k+ to change a 4sp auto to 6sp auto in these cars. You've got the best combo, wish I had the 6sp in my G220 :(

Thanks guys its a 05 model built in August. Love the car and a few people have said that the 6 speed with the v8 was a good combo. I love the car will miss my old ed giah but out with the old in with the new. Will go for exhaust and extractors with cold air intake and that should see me done. Looking at the BF gt kit would have loved a gt but out if my price. Ssv make a good kit any thoughts about that.

You have probably one of the best combo's around. The monster torque of the 3valver, & the silky smooth 6sp ZF. Not only that it would be pretty rare.
The 3 valve is very easy to extract good gains from.
On our 3 valve we went from 187rwkw standard to 230+ with an exhaust, F6 airbox, some inlet plumbing & a bluepower tune. On standard headers!!!.
Enjoy it mate you've got a very good car..

Yes that is correct.

It would not be hard to tell what it is off the VIN and if it is actually a BA2 with a factory ZF then it would be a very interesting car indeed.

I remember them being launched in September, but I am not sure when the actual building started... Someone here will know what month they switched. If it has the ZF, it narrows it down...
