no you should be ok with the camber my AU2 rear tyres are even wear indicates cambers ok, also my AU2 is lowered with ssl with ba xr8 18"s 245/40/18 with plenty of room i might even fit 255/35/18 at the rear.

here are some pictures of my au2 lowered with sl/ssl with ba xr8 18"s 245/40/18 all round

cheers dean

Hi Dean,
Love the way your car sits, and that colour does love the sun too.

Where do you have the sl and ssl mounted?

My v8 lane had pedders reds of unknown height (suspect low) on stock monroes and i changed the fronts to kings sl and short bodied struts on the front.
I only had a 5mm drop from 350mm to 345mm in the front from hub centre to arch after a 500km settling time.
The kings are about 20mm shorter than the old pedders uninstalled and the strut perch heights are identical, the coils wire diameter is about the same too (15mm).

I was really expecting the kings sl to drop at least 15 to 20mm from the pedders but perhaps i needed to go ssl? Or were my pedders already sl?

Do you know what your hub centre to arch heights are?

Cheers,
Andrew.

It drives pretty good actually. It hasn't scrap over speed humps, but i drive slow on an angle anyway. considering it's lowered with king springs sl/ssl along with koni yellow adjustable shocks, it's still got standard bushes but i'll be replacing them early next year with superpro bushes F&R along with a 27mm front sway bar.

Cheers dean

I think I have a set of King SSL if you're interested, F & R for IRS.

I just picked up the set of ssl coils. Do you need to use a short body shock or will a standard shock suffice?

you can but they wont last long best to use short body shocks, i've seen standard shocks installed with low springs and the shaft will bend after time.
