G'day guys got a strange one here lol, I want to share my tattoo design/ ideas and would love any feedback or additional ideas before it gets drawn up.
Basically I have the southern cross ( 18th birthday, dumb and drunk ) on my leg and I'm getting it covered ( OR possibly incorporated into? ) in a couple of weeks as sleeve dedicated to an old school gt theme. I want a XY and XB Coupe in it ( just the originals, not the race cars ) plus racing flag backing, pistons, Superoo logo, Mt Panorama signage or start finish line, perhaps a bit of the Bathurst track? sprockets, big block blown motor etc. Does anyone els have any ideas what I could add? With the number plates I'm thinking of having the XY as "XYGT" or possibly "GTHO"??? and the XB as "XBGT" Can anyone give me any suggestions about the motor? Should I go all out, or keep it as a 351? Cheers in advance guys, Might not be everyones cup of tea.. Here are a few ideas I've grabbed from the net plus my current tat.. >> |

All of those tatts look great. Maybe you could incorporate some tools ,engine parts, nuts bolts, hydraulics etc as background. Dont make it too busy that you cannot easily identify the main subject though.

I'm getting from my ankel to a bit above my knee. I highlighted parts from each picture to show the artist and let him tie it together. Yep got a pretty well known artist lined up who has done award winning tatts.. Hey greg what's the link to that thread? can't find it in your profile.. so what do you guys think for the number plates and motor?
