hi
looking to get a 1080p atleast 140 deg dash camera that will plug into a monitor or incar dvd player. looking to get the following specs. 140 deg motion detection 1080p able to turn mic off and keep it off so it no longer works and keeps that setting even when camera gets turned off and on. able to record date and time but not car speed and keep the date and time setting. able to record even while vehicle is parked g sensor able to have a rear camera connected so it works like a dual camera is anyone please able to send links of ones that will work as above features looking to get sort of around this shape http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Full-HD-7...item3a90ace929 Last edited by car10002; 09-01-2015 at 01:49 PM. |

there was a whole thread on reverse cameras just recently. cant remember if in 'the pub' or elsewhere.
do a search it wont be hard to find. basically, you get what you pay for and ebay is cheap = crop

Don't see the point of motion detector. Every time you stop behind a car at the lights the camera turns off because it's not picking up enough movement.
G sensor is good though, turns the camera on when of feels a jolt. I have a cheap uniden one $60 it says it's 1080p but I don't think so. Go pro stuck on the dashboard in 1080p gives a heaps better picture. I'm thinking about getting a quality one soon. Caught a number of tool over the past year and a half on mine. |

Sticky would be nice although I'm currently not in the market for a dash cam I will be looking at one in a few months
