Do you still have it?
As you know, some vinyl records, are now collector items and are quite valuable. Depending on the serial number, The Beatles "The White Album" is worth some money. In 2014, a copy of this album sold for US$13,750. Guys, if you have old vinyl from the sixties, I'd suggest you go through your collection, brush off the cobwebs and do a search online to their value. Some of you may be sitting on a fortune! |

Wow you mentioned two of my favourite guitarist singer legends, though not my first bought LP's but all of Ted Nugent's work/music was as hard as the cars that poured out of Detroit in the 70's, remember " Motor City Madhouse " and can't believe you mentioned Robin Trower!..cool.. His album " Long Misty Days " blew me away, especially his song " Caledonia "...miss them days driving around with the old cassette player and amp blazing out the back of my van, never seen him live but wanted too badly when he was on guitar with Procol Harem, cool, cool memories, but i saw a video of him live doing " Too Rolling Stoned " thanks for the post! Kind Regards Billy. |

"The Rolling Stones" (mono) by the Rolling Stones. 1964 or 65.
Still have it, and the sound quality is terrible by todays standards. I now have every track released by The Stones on CD. Do I get a gong for that ? |

Hello,
Their first album was called "Black Sabbath”, do you remember the year and cover? It was released on Friday 13th February 1970. Then Paranoid 1970 Masters of Reality 1971, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 1973. Regards Billy |

Hello,
Their first album which I mentioned in an earlier post has a very gloomy - doomy cover in dark colours of a churchyard cum cemetery with a long haired sheila dressed in pink sort of floating toward you as you looked at the cover! Cheers Billy. Last edited by slowsnake; 16-07-2018 at 10:41 AM. Reason: misspelled word |

What a bunch of old geezers we are
Vinyl .. Explosive Hits 74 still have it still listen to it occasionally... Cassette .. one of ACDC TNT or ABBA self titled...oh come on, it wasn't unfashionable back then! I remember cruising with my brother in his brand new G-Pak Torrie with I am a Tiger (diff album but close in time) blasting on 3XY.
